Job Summary

We are actively seeking empathetic, highly organized, and discreet professionals to step into the role of HR Associate. You will act as the primary point of contact for team member inquiries, assist with payroll processes, and support the Store Director in culture-building initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advocate, delivering the signature care that sets Stop & Shop apart in the supermarket industry. This is an administrative role that requires exceptional interpersonal finesse.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Associate Support: Answer daily questions regarding paid time off, union contract rules, benefits enrollment, and company policies.
• Payroll Administration: Review weekly time punches, correct missed punches, and ensure payroll is submitted accurately and on time.
• Onboarding Logistics: Process I-9 verifications, initiate background checks, and prepare personnel files for all new hires.
• Culture & Engagement: Organize store-wide events, recognize work anniversaries, and manage the associate breakroom environment to boost morale.
