Job Summary

We are actively seeking cheerful, highly approachable, and energetic individuals to join our frontline team. As a Store Host, you will be stationed at the main entrances, responsible for welcoming shoppers, directing traffic, and ensuring carts are clean and available. You will serve as a hospitality ambassador, delivering the signature friendliness that sets Meijer apart in the supercenter retail industry. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Warm Welcomes: Stand at the main entrance to greet every customer with a smile, handing out weekly promotional flyers and answering quick directional questions.
• Cart Readiness: Ensure a steady supply of clean, sanitized shopping carts and hand baskets are immediately available for entering guests, wiping down handles regularly.
• Front End Vigilance: Act as an observant presence at the doors, thanking customers as they exit and gently reminding them if they forgot to bag a bottom-of-basket item.
• Cleanliness: Keep the store vestibule immaculate, picking up stray debris and ensuring floor mats are secure to prevent slip hazards.
