Job Summary

We are actively seeking outgoing, energetic, and highly hospitable individuals to join our curbside pickup team. As an entry-level Pickup Associate, you will be responsible for managing the order staging area, greeting arriving customers, and loading their groceries safely. You will serve as a service ambassador, delivering the signature warmth that sets Publix apart in the grocery retail industry. This is an active role perfect for those who love working outdoors and providing instant gratification to customers.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Order Hand-Offs: Monitor smart devices for arriving customers, rapidly retrieving their bagged orders from the coolers and freezers with extreme speed.
• Curbside Hospitality: Deliver staged orders safely to customer vehicles in the parking lot, providing a warm, friendly Publix greeting and ensuring they are satisfied with any substitutions.
• Safe Loading: Carefully pack the customer's trunk, ensuring fragile items like eggs and bread are placed on top to prevent damage during the drive home.
• Staging Management: Keep the staging area perfectly organized, ensuring that orders awaiting pickup are kept at the correct temperatures to preserve food safety.
