Job Summary

We are actively seeking experienced, food-passionate, and highly organized individuals to join our leadership team. As a Team Lead, you will direct shift operations, ensuring that organic compliance, food safety, and visual merchandising standards are met flawlessly. You will serve as the coach on the floor, delivering the signature operational excellence that sets us apart in the grocery retail industry. This is an active, floor-based management role.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Shift Direction: Delegate daily tasks to department associates, ensuring freight is processed, displays are built, and the sales floor is fully recovered.
• Quality & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Whole Foods Market quality standards, ensuring proper cold-chain management and organic product separation.
• Team Coaching: Provide in-the-moment feedback to team members, train new hires on department procedures, and foster a positive, inclusive work culture.
• Inventory Management: Assist the Department Manager with cycle counts, ordering processes, and identifying areas of high shrink or waste.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No college degree required; 1 to 3 years of retail, grocery, or culinary leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Must possess an incredibly sharp eye for detail, a passion for natural foods, and strong coaching skills.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces, navigate the sales floor actively, and safely lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
