Job Summary

We are actively seeking detail-obsessed, highly analytical individuals to manage our store's inventory flow. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be trained to investigate stock discrepancies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the backroom operates flawlessly. You will serve as the gatekeeper of our products, delivering the signature operational excellence that sets us apart in the grocery retail industry. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Shrink Reduction: Investigate negative inventory balances and high-theft categories, working with management to adjust ordering algorithms and correct systemic counts.
• Vendor Receiving: Act as the primary receiver for Direct Store Delivery (DSD) vendors (e.g., soda, chips, bread), scanning in their invoices and auditing their deliveries.
• Damage & Defect Processing: Process all damaged goods, executing the proper reclamation or hazardous waste protocols to recoup costs and ensure safety.
• Backroom Management: Execute routine audits of the reserve storage bins, ensuring pallets are wrapped securely and excess freight is accounted for.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.

• Ability to walk, bend, navigate the warehouse floor, and safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
