Job Summary

We are actively seeking detail-obsessed, highly analytical individuals to manage our store's receiving operations. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be trained to inspect vendor deliveries, ensure strict organic compliance, and process DSD (Direct Store Delivery) invoices. You will serve as the gatekeeper of our quality, delivering the signature operational excellence that sets us apart in the grocery retail industry. This is a highly focused role perfect for those who love administrative accuracy.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Cold Chain Compliance: Inspect incoming perishable deliveries (meat, seafood, dairy) with a digital thermometer to ensure the cold chain has not been broken during transit.
• Vendor Receiving (DSD): Act as the primary receiver for local farmers and distributors, scanning in their invoices, verifying physical counts, and noting discrepancies.
• Organic Separation: Ensure all incoming freight adheres to strict separation protocols, keeping conventional and organic products physically divided on the dock.
• Backroom Management: Execute routine audits of the receiving bay, ensuring pallets are staged safely and delivery bays are clear for the next truck.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; prior experience in retail inventory or receiving is a strong plus.
• Must possess an incredibly sharp eye for detail, basic computer literacy, and comfort using digital auditing tools.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces, navigate the warehouse floor, and safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
