Job Summary

We are actively seeking observant, polished, and tech-comfortable individuals to join our Front Store team. As a Self-Checkout Attendant, you will be trained to monitor express kiosks, assisting VIP guests with scanning their designer items and ensuring a frictionless exit. You will serve as an active host, delivering the signature convenience that sets Saks apart in the luxury retail industry. This is a highly active role perfect for those who love multitasking while maintaining an elegant presence.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Active Hosting: Greet clients as they approach the express zone, directing them to open mobile registers and managing the queue during peak holiday rushes.
• Transaction Assistance: Step in proactively to help guests scan delicate items, remove security sensors safely, and provide signature Saks shopping bags.
• Intervention & Troubleshooting: Respond rapidly to machine alerts or payment errors, providing a white-glove resolution so the client is never frustrated.
• Asset Protection Support: Maintain a vigilant but discreet presence, ensuring all high-value items are properly scanned and security tags are removed before the client exits.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No prior luxury retail experience required—we provide extensive POS systems and hospitality training.
• Must possess an incredibly polished, outgoing personality and the ability to multitask in a busy, high-end environment.
• Ability to walk and stand continuously within the checkout zone for the duration of the shift.
