Job Summary
We are actively seeking detail-oriented, energetic individuals to join our e-commerce fulfillment team. As an Online Order Picker, your entire shift will be spent on the move, utilizing smart routing software to pull grocery items for multiple orders simultaneously. - Batch Picking: Navigate the store pushing a specialized picking cart, scanning and selecting items for up to 6 different online orders at once.
- Smart Substitutions: Utilize critical thinking to select appropriate substitute items (e.g., a different brand of organic milk) when the requested item is out of stock, messaging the customer for approval.
- Perishable Selection: Hand-pick the freshest produce, checking for bruises or blemishes, and ensuring cold-chain items are picked last to preserve temperature.
- Staging & Logistics: Pack bags logically (separating chemicals from food) and stage them in the appropriate temperature-controlled holding zones.
