Job Summary

We are actively seeking enthusiastic, detail-focused, and highly adaptable individuals to join our Guest Services team. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be trained in all facets of our returns and support operations. You will serve as a primary support contact, delivering the signature hospitality that sets us apart in the retail industry. This is a dynamic role where you will transition frequently between processing returns, managing online orders, and answering the store switchboard.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• First Impressions: Greet every guest approaching the service desk with a welcoming attitude, quickly assessing their needs and taking ownership of their issue.
• Return Management: Learn the intricacies of processing returns and exchanges, inspecting merchandise for damages, and issuing refunds securely to original payment methods.
• Omnichannel Support: Act seamlessly between physical and digital spaces by processing in-store pickups and helping guests navigate the Target app.
• Defect Processing: Sort returned items that cannot go back to the sales floor into specific salvage, donate, or defect bins according to strict corporate guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Act as an essential support player, assisting front-end leadership with overriding register prompts and providing backup cashiering during extreme rushes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• High School diploma or GED required; completely entry-level, no prior experience needed.
• Must possess an incredibly patient demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to de-escalate frustrated guests.
